Last year the Coventry limited was good and there was little  need to shuffle funds as there was a gap above other EA accounts which was maintained as they increased rates after each BoE raise - but earlier this year it fell behind when there was no increase after a BoE rise, a new issue came out with a lower rate, and their latest 4 access has already been overtaken by Tandem - so it might be wise to wait until things settle after the next BoE before funding a limited access.

My not finding limited access accounts (seriously, I think they should be in a separate thread to full easy access) good enough, and sticking with Chip and Tandem, has worked out. Pleased about that.

Hmm, looks like the latest Coventry 4 access cannot be closed online.

Does your rate change email notification state your underlying interest is changing today/tomorrow, or did you open the account today?

That’s inclusive of the 0.35% top up (lasts 12 months from point of activation)
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

Yes, but not the point. Others' apps still show the old rate of 3.75% AER (inclusive of the Top Up), and they received emails earlier today notifying them that their interest rate will change tomorrow, not today.

I've got the option on mine:
Go into your four access account (you'll have to log in fully).
    Select "payments" option
On the payment screen there's an option to "close online".

Coventry took 3 weeks to raise their rates after the last MPC decision, by which time they were eclipsed by many other accounts
Three weeks indeed, thanks for reminding, but one week to announce the increase.  I might wait for one week to see what's on offer next or just withdraw, which will still leave me with 3 more goes at it if ever needed.
