Is Chip the highest paying account that can be accessed via an app?
Both Gatehouse and Oxbury (3.9%) have iOS Apps (may have Android too but I only have an iPhone)

On Android, the Oxbury app is only used to log into the website - accounts can't be managed from it.

Marcus lagging a bit, probably raise just before BoE next week.
Finally gave up on Marcus. Cynergy are my next one to whinge about - they are taking their time..........
I cleared out Cynergy on Monday which normally is the trigger for a rise!

As we saw today with DF Capital withdrawing their savings accounts for now.

yes rates are on the up and there will always be sufficient lenders available to us for savings rates but each institution has different aims, objectives and times scales, some reach their target of inbound money some are targeting fixes some easy access accounts.

luckily as savers now we are in the driving seat (I know I know re inflation eroding savings) but important thing is (unless you have a reason to) don’t feel you need to remain loyal, if someone you are with isn’t increasing their rates as you would like, then if a new institution offers a new better rate that suits then move that money
