When granting Tandem access to your account (via Open Banking).  If you have a number of current accounts with a particular bank.  Is there any way to only grant them access to one of your current accounts with that bank?
OB access is always per account, not per bank

But as I posted earlier, you don't have to use OB with Tandem if you don't want to
Isn't OB still required to validate the account though (albeit can then be removed)?
The Tandem website states bank transfer are only accepted from the connected account, and will be returned if sent from other accounts

I hope I will be forgiven for going slightly off topic and recommend that people who are reticent about, or fearful of Open Banking should read the MSE blog about Open Banking. There will be more and more savings and current account providers, as well as third parties, who use Open Banking functionality, so it is a good idea to understand it - and to understand that there  is nothing to fear about, and that it actually makes your life so much easier.

If you - like me - definitely do not want to see a savings provider what's going on in your day-to-day current account, simply set up a second / third etc current account that you use exclusively with one or more savings providers. This might add an extra step when shifting money about, but it usually takes just seconds to shift money between current accounts, especially when they are with the same bank.

I moved my savings to Zopa from Tandem literally this morning and locked into a boosted pot, then Tandem announced the increase... is there anything I can do or am I completely stuck with the boosted pot for 31 days? No way to close the pot and just lose the interest?
You are stuck for 31 days, as far as I am aware. Hope that you have given notice on the pot. I had just done the same a few days ago with Zopa and gave notice immediately. I've got a few pots at 95 days, but they are to fund regular saver for a few months.
Hope that Zopa ups its game soon.
On the plus side, if Zopa do compete with Tandem, the boosted pots interest will increase too.

That's right, as I said above, it uses OB for that - but in the form of Confirmation of Payee that, as far as I know, nobody objects to because all that is shared for this particular OB process is name, sort code and account number. No login data gets shared, therefore no information about transactions on the account can be shared.

Lots of providers perform similar checks - all the ones who say that the linked or nominated account must be a UK account in your name do.

Problem I have with Tandem is to log in to the app you have to put your mobile number in to receive a text to log in to my account, or am I doing something wrong?

Exactly. There's only going to be a difference of 17p, we are not talking £100's here.

I use a tablet and only have to use a mobile code when I power it up, after that it allows finger print recognition

That's how it works for me too. It's a bit concerning as the text arrives on the same device as the app. Which makes me wonder about security. Although I do have to unlock the Tandem app with a fingerprint.

Yes, that's the way it works for me too. Make sure that you have notifications off on locked screen for security, just to be on the safe side. Can't use fingerprint due to eczema on hands, it never works for me, so have given up.
