You`re right and I can`t believe people are moving "loads of money" every time a higher rate comes out.Nick_C said:All these posts by individuals telling us which accounts they have emptied and where they have transferred the money to really aren't adding anything positive to the thread, and just makes it harder to find the occasional nuggets of useful information that are buried here.
On the other hand people like to know other`s experiences of providers they`ve never been with.
I`ve never been with Paragon and would like others views because the likes of Trustpilot is hardly reliable.
There is a no chat thread, as I`m sure you`re aware.

This morning I reduced Cynergy 2.9% to £1, funds in current account instantaneously, may be useful information for anyone who values truly instant access.Nick_C said:All these posts by individuals telling us which accounts they have emptied and where they have transferred the money to really aren't adding anything positive to the thread, and just makes it harder to find the occasional nuggets of useful information that are buried here.
Subsequent transfer to Shawbrook 3.05%, SMSs confirming receipt after about 2 hours (multiple as >£25k current account limit).0 -
I think they help, it gives an idea what others are doing.
If providers are not competitive I am out of there. I too emptied the last bit from Zopa today.6 -
On the contrary, I think it is very usefulNick_C said:All these posts by individuals telling us which accounts they have emptied and where they have transferred the money to really aren't adding anything positive to the thread, and just makes it harder to find the occasional nuggets of useful information that are buried here.

I didn't check. Just logged in and checked my interest rate. Others here must have the same account surely?AmityNeon said:
Is the account listed on Skipton’s website as available?oz0707 said:Sorry for the post i've not been following recently. I just checked the Top of the Pots post and see accounts in early 3% however I logged into my Skipton Double access and its at 3.25%. Has this gone NLA or something hence not being listed?0 -
it looks like it's been withdrawn - there's a PDF on the Skipton site that lists Issue 1 & 2 of the Double Access Saver in their closed accounts (paying 3.25% over £10k)... it's dated today (13th Feb).oz0707 said:Sorry for the post i've not been following recently. The 3.25% limited access 6 account wasn't available long. I was replaced with the lower rate limited access 7 account 2.85%, which has also been withdrawn to new applicants.oz0707 said:
