IT'S ALL OVER! Went to the court yesterday to declare bankruptcy. So glad it's all over. This is the beginning of my new life, away from my Ex! hurrah! Waited for ages to see a judge but was then told that the Judge was too busy and to come back two hours later. I went back and the order was stamped, so didn't even see the Judge! Spoke to the OR's office and they everything should be fine, and they'll contact me in a few days time. Really please. I can rest now! Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has sent me messages. it means the world to know everyone is behind you. Thanks everybody!!! xxSaving £12k in 2015

Well done Hanspans!!
I pottered off to court yesterday too and was really quite scarred, but think it was the waiting that really got to me and the others in the room!
Appointment was at 10am, at half ten i went in and did my affadivit and then got put into another waiting room...where we stayed waiting to see the judge and then at quarter to 12 they said sorry but there is no judge, then they found a judge and we didn't have to see them, just got signed off and sent on our way!
Madness, i was BR by 11.58am yesterday and spent the rest of the day floating between 'thank goodness' for that and OMG!! OR called yesterday evening and said he would be calling mon or tues to arrange a time to talk....hoping it will be over the phone coz of my 19 month old being with me all day!
A bit nervous about the or interview but then hoping after that, it will sort of be over!
Congrats and being in the debt free part of the wannabee club!0 -
I am pleased for both you, Hanspans, and meech - I hope you can both look forward to an early discharge.
Best of luck with the OR interviews - if we can be of help, just ask.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
