Evening all,
Well not the best dfw day for me,i have the dreaded cold its hit me really bad ive almost lost my voice and my throat is killing me,this has resulted in me calling in sick (something that i never do as i hate losing on wages and letting people down) oh has insisted i dont go in tomorrow i know hes right but i feel guilty as its losing money....daft i know!!:mad::eek:
I spent £8.05 in the shop today the only time ive been out oh was at a course dd with in laws as already planned i went to get milk and spend the rest on chocolates and sweets feel bad but needed the sugar!! I have done my shopping online with T it will be delivered tomorrow on the flexi saver it cost £2 but i have no energy to go and collect (i usually do click and collect as its free but saves me money coz i dont spend anything on what i wouldnt normally buy)
Not done anything else here but feel sorry for myself and sleep...tomorrow will be about the same its ohs last day off tomorrow so i am making the most of him being here and getting some rest....again highly unlike me i think thats how oh knows i am ill i never sit still this much lol!!
Take care everyone x0 -
Morning all!
Emzmom - I hope you are feeling better. It sounds a bit like the cold that I caught a couple of weeks ago. It wiped me out for a couple of days.
1LL - I hope that your DS is ok now
Hugs to all other poorlies xxx
It's my Saturday and the sun is shining! We are off to a local-ish seaside town today (about 20 miles away). OH likes to get his hair cut by a barber there and it's a nice little half day out for us. This afternoon's paln is to attempt to make the cheese. It's a hard cheese kit and it looks difficult - well the temperature control looks difficult. However, I feel that as a scientist I should be able to cope.
The list today will roll through the weekend:- B/D from stores. - not quite - bought some pasta for dinner
- Lunch out but paid for out of personal spends and will go to our usual cheap and cheerful place - done
- Get milk for making cheese - done
- Wash on 30 deg - done
- Make cheese - done
- Reconcile budget sheet - done
- Buy potting compost - done
- Plant seeds and write up what I did in my new book
- Take in summer dress
- Glue my shoe
- Glue bracket on greenhouse and possibly attempt a couple of other repairs
- Strip and remake bed
- Dust dining room
- Crochet
- Msg friend with new baby to see if she's free tomorrow - done
Have a good one all

Beurgh to making cheese carrie! (actually the process is no doubt interesting just the end result I'm not in to!)
Emzmom88 hope you're feeling better. Don't worry or feel guilty, no point in running yourself in to the ground and after all it's only money. In a month's time this won't matter so don't bother yourself with it now x
Last day of the week off today. Going in to town with madam as she needs new school schools, hoping I can pick her up a little pair of boots in the sales too
think I will treat her to lunch.
Will call in to sm on the way back and get last of the groceries
other than that:
* hang washing on line
* take pup for walk
* continue cutting out a pattern, amend as needed
* need to go back to my jumpsuit as I don't like something about it and not sure how to rectify. Might wait until I have a sewing lesson next weekend and ask what to do?!
* all meals from stores (excluding lunch)
* check onepoll if I can be bothered
* Have the afternoon to myself. Should go to the allotment, but my heart lays elsewhere!
ok that's all I can think of/be bothered with atm! I also have come down with another cold in the last few days!DF as at 30/12/16
