    also check the rf thermostat is programmed right, and that it is set for your property. We had this problem when we moved to a new build. default setting meant that downstairs were putting our heating on and off.

    Thanks for all the help. The problem should now be resolved. As you all mentioned, it is an immersion heater that no one had made us aware of. All the neighbours were having the same problem but neither the builder or the leccy company thought to mention it might have an immersion. So the immersion was on all the time as well as the boiler heating the water.

    Hopefully I will now see a massive difference. As will my neighbours.

    We didn't have this in the old house.
