Neighbors rubbish

Thanks for your suggestions I will check if the council supply any extra bins for families. I am not sure it would be a good idea to offer space in my bin, as they would probably use it too much. I think they have already been doing that, as I often see rubbish in my bin that didn't come from me. I have suggested that they could buy things with less packaging but they are not interested. Some people just like everything to have loads of packaging on it.0

This may be your problem if my neighbours dared to suggest to me what I should or should not be buying I would not be too happy.
However if my neighbours came to me with an issue that I was causing problems for them, asking for my help to stop it. I would try my best to help resolve it.0 -
My neighbours won't walk 4 meters to the bins. They have left 20 or 30 bins bags in their back garden, this is after filling 5 recycling bins with "normal" waste. The bin men would touch it as they just deal with the bin area. The recycling bin crew won't empty them as its "normal" refuse and so it goes on and on.
All I can do it continue to keep my area tidy by collecting the litter that gets into my garden. These people rent from a private landlord and as a home owner I will not allow my space to become run down looking. To preserve my sanity, I will just continue to collect the litter once each week and try to not let it bother me.
Maybe one day the banks will stop borrowing to people who buy properties and let them out. These people (the landlord and the tenant) have no regard for anyone but themselves.0 -
Councils limit bin sizes to force recycling. Is their recycling bin used?
Leaf blowers are cheaper than fences:D0 -
Set fire to it.... then they'll wait for the bin men to arrive in future and put it out while they watch it being taken to the truck ... and they'll pull their bin in immediately again.
Practise your "horrified" and "really??" faces for when they tell you their bin was set fire to.
Top tip: Don't get caught0 -
do you think my suggestion to use less packaging is worse than spreading their litter everywhere?0

Eric B52, have you noticed the "thanks" button. It is not an ornament.0

Sometimes, even when you're right, you need to think creatively and behave tactfully to get what you want.0
