So much more than an Egyptian river...

Even as simple as the basic mechanicals were jointly sourced - diesel and 2.8 petrol = VW, 2.0 and 2.3 petrol = Ford. Auto box = VW, manual box = Ford.0 -
Mine is all VW.0

Neither. You haven't got your 'facts' right.0

One of us hasn't, that's true.
And it's not me that's trying to pretend my Ford Galaxy is "100% VW" bar the badges.
So you have a Galaxy developed by the Ford/VW joint venture, built by AutoEuropa in Palmela before VW bought Ford's 50%, with a Ford NSE 2.0 or Ford Y5A/B 2.3 connected to a Ford NXT75 box, but it's absolutely 100% VW. Gotcha.0 -
It's got a VW 1.9 TDI 130ps ASZ engine with a VW 6 speed transmission as found in lots of VWs. I'm not really bothered what it is but I get a bit fed up when the VW parts people try and send me to a Ford dealer or someone tells me a VW would be more reliable than my Ford and then they don't believe you when you say it is a VW!0
