On the new version you just click on "latest post" and it takes you to the latest post ! Amazing eh ? Where's the issue ?
The OP doesn't want to go to the latest post, they want to go to the first unread post - in some cases that can be a few pages back.
I would also find this function helpful. Many other forums/fora have it, so it is clearly not rocket science. It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
'Wonder' - to feel curious.0 -
Crikey, didn't realise this forum would be so active.
Anyway, all understood now so I'm leaving.
Thanks for your interest.0 -

If you are using the old green version, you can set threads to read from newest to oldest. In user CP under "Settings and Options" go to Edit Settings. Scroll down to Thread Display Options. Under Thread Display Mode it should be set to Linear - Oldest first, change this to Linear - Newest first and save changes.
If you have access to both old and new versions, you can adjust this setting in the old version and it will be retained when you return the new version.0
