Ah I see you don't want to read backwards you want to jump to last post read, then continue to read forwards, that is a different thing and yes understandable.
Sorry I can't help with that (I am on an old version) I do believe others have complained about this many times.0 -
My apologies.
Reading my OP again I can see I maybe didn't explain very well.
But hopefully it's clear to all now.
If it's a common complaint I won't bother putting it on feedback then.0 -
Am I missing something? To do what you want you click on the little symbol to the right of thread title, looks like a "v" in a box and it takes you to the first unread post.0

I would, probably nothing will be done about it but maybe the more people complain the better.0 -

Thats in the old green version. I'm not on it but I believe the new version does not have this function.
Even on the green version, I find its a bit hit and miss sometimes.
I actually prefer the new version layout/style but am keeping the old due to this function. Unless anyone can confirm they have added this function to the new version, that would be great.0 -
rufford155 wrote: »Katrina : On threads I've been following, why would I want/need to scroll though scores of pages of old posts I've already seen? I want to jump straight to the latest, especially when I get an email that someone has replied. Example - on another forum I've just got a reply to a query I posted 9 months ago!
Katrina : Crikey, didn't realise the forum doesn't know the right time. It's a UK forum isn't it?
DoaM : Ah! Thought it might be wrong so might try again.
baza : I said I wanted to see newest first, not the oldest, didn't I?
iammumtoo : As I said above, 'cos I've already seen all the old posts.
It is your computer that doesn't show the correct time. Check your settings.
Mine shows your first post as 2.460 -

As said earlier it's likely the user's forum settings. The link below should allow OP to check and set their Date & Time Options:

I wasn't aware of this until I read your post, so thanks, that's another reason for me to stick with the old version of the forum.0 -
On the new version you just click on "latest post" and it takes you to the latest post ! Amazing eh ? Where's the issue ?0
