Morning BB50
Did you manage to get all the items listed. EBay drives me mad which is why I rarely use it  Have you got a date in mind for doing the car boot?
Have a great day. xx0 -
Hi BB50,
Just read through your diary. You asked about savings account ideas - my emergency fund is in a savings account with NS & I. They used to operate through post office counters. I set up a direct debit so a regular amount is saved and is untouchable. To access it, I have to post off a form. They are really quick at paying out into a nominated bank account if necessary. I like the fact it's not immediately accessible but in the case of a fiscal emergency, could be used fairly promptly, if that makes sense!paydbx2026 #19 £1499/£6000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £133k.
2026 savings challenge £0/£2000 EF £140. Savings 2 £2.170 -

:A quick update and i will do full update later when i have more time. For the second month running all DD's have been paid on the first time of collecting and so has the mortgage with a tiny over payment
:D I think it was jwill who suggested paying by bank transfer on pay day and i have done this for the last two months so a massive thank you.
A big thank you to all who have commented and liked my posts - you are all really helping me on this journey xx0 -

That's brilliant news, well done :T :T :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Brilliant news about the DD's and also a mortgage over-payment, however small, can only be a good thing :T Bet you feel much more in control of things don't you.
Hope the EBay and FB items sell for you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. xx0 -
Always good to be on top of the DDs. Great to hear you've made a small overpayment to the mortgage too. All steps in the right direction
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
