It's exactly 6 months to the date since we went bankrupt...... we're half way there
It's absolutely flown by, it really has.
We haven't heard anything from the OR for about 2 months now...... no news is good news and all that I suppose. Would love to know though, if Potless is going to get a BRO/U, but I suppose they've got pretty much up to AD day to decide that. You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Hi Scarlett,
I have just read all of your thread and it makes great reading! Thanks.
We (OH and I) went bankrupt on 03.04.08. We had our interview and were told to expect an IPA for about £500.00 per month.
We thought this was low as our failed IVA was £850.00 per month. It is now four and a half months later and we have not heard a thing. We are trying really hard not to get used to the extra money each month.
As you are a couple of months ahead of us it will be interesting to see if you ever hear about an IPA.0 -

Hi milesR
I am currently on an IVA but have finally woke up to the fact that i shouldn't have been on one as i have no assets. (been on it for 2 years)
I have now decided going bankrupt is my best option. My query is, as i'm employed, i was wondering what your income/expenditure report was like for the OR to reach a figure of £500 on your IPA as i'm worried i may be worse off going bankrupt. My monthly payments on my IVA are £456.
Thanks for any advise received.0 -
Hi Clanger, why don't you start your own post so people will be more likely to come across it to give advice.
Also, list total amount you own and your income.

Okay, have been checking us on the insolvency site <cough> every now and again (every day actually
) and this evening there is Something Different. At the very bottom, where is has the OR's address it now says "RTLU Midlands". This is good yes? Does this mean we HAVE been transferred to RTLU? We haven't had anything in the post about it, but something must be on the way right? This has definitely changed today - it wasn't like that yesterday
This is a Good Thing isn't it? Am I right that it means the OR has finished investigating us? :T Would it also mean that he will have decided whether H will be getting a BRO/U? How many consecutive questions can I ask in one go?You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

I never noticed mine before(it changed,if it did) but mine says RTLU swansea. If you have been transferred you should get notification about it. Yes it means they have finished investigating.
As far as a bru/bru's are concerned they usually begin the process of applying one 6wks before AD discharge.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Finished investigation - they (very, very rarely) transfer to RTLU if considering BRO/BRU as hassles of one file in two places0 -
