    Thanks Angel.

I get around £2300 per month and following are my debts on the card:

    1st CC - 15000
    2nd CC - 11500
    3rd CC - 8000
    Personal Loan - 18000

    Expenses:

    Rent + Bills - 900
    Other expenses - 500
    Family Support - 600

So I am left with only £200 pounds per month which I pay to my CC's.

I had to send money to my family back in India. They do not earn much and got to support my Uncles family who was diagnoised with Cancer few months ago (no in last stage) and because of this he do not work. I had to support his 2 kids and my aunt. I took out Personal and credit cards loan to help my brother start a business to support my family but business failed and all the money was lost.

Now I dont know what to do. Can somebody please suggest me anything.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Afternoon all,

A little update of sorts - today is the day the repossession hearing was set at the local court for the old house. It was at 3.00pm, so I'm guessing it's probably over by now

It's actually effected me more than I expected it to :o I feel a bit wierd about it to be honest. Not exactly devestated (I knew it was coming after all!), but I guess...... a bit, well, sad I suppose. I assume at some point this week we'll receive some sort of confirmation that the house has been given back to Northern Rock. I do hope there's no hassel in getting the shortfall included in the BR.... I assume that won't happen until it's actually been sold

Anyhoo, that's about it from us for now. Still nothing from the OR about IPA or BRO/U

    Hi Scarlett ,

Thanks for the update. Hope all is OK in the rented & I know what you mean about devastated...I`m just about to leave ours having just spent blood, sweat & tears renovating it from nothing!! I feel as though I have wasted 2 years...but hey life goes on!

I wonder what happens to the shortfall if the property is sold after discharge?...is it still included in the BR? In the current market place even the auctions are`nt selling well so may be a while b4 its sold.

Also I am amazed how many times the Nothern Rock appears on this board! No wonder it took so long for reposession to go through! bet they are inundated...well they`ll have mine soon!!

    Hi Angel :)

All is great in our rented place, we're all really happy here. It's just..... you know, oh I don't know how to describe it.... just knowing that today was The Day for the old house made me feel a bit odd :o

Yes, from everything I've been told, the shortfall WILL be included in our BR even if the sale is after we've been discharged because the debt was incurred while we were still undischarged - if that makes sense?!

    Hi scarlett
Never had a house but imagine it's bit like saying goodbye to a little part of you. You know memories ect spent there, anothertime when money was not a problem ect. I don't know how you feel and i won't pretend i do but i can imagine up to a point. Hope it passes soon. We all have to say goodbye to things in bc, some harder than others, in years to come maybe you will look back with fondness rather than sadness. These things happen for reason. Take care D
