Landlord using our address for mail

Hello... I'm wondering what (if anything) I should do about my landlord. I have been renting this property for almost a year, and over the past few months have had mail delivered which is addressed to my landlord.
A few times I've opened stuff by mistake and they have been letters from debt collectors. Another time it was a letter saying a loan application had been approved.
This morning I opened another letter by mistake (the name was obscured)... and it was a Court Order to pay a fine.
I am now worried that if the fine isn't paid, bailiffs will appear at this address.
I have told the landlord that his mail is piling up... he said he would collect it and I believe he lives close by.
What should I say to him about his mail coming to my address, and is what he's doing lawful? Might it affect my credit rating, for instance if he has unpaid debts/fines and Court Orders coming to this address?
Please help...

His mail forwarding has possibly expired.
Return everything to sender 'no longer at this address'. If you're feeling generous, tell him he appears to have 'forgotten' to tell people his address has changed.
Keep a copy of your tenancy near the door in case bailiffs turn up. Show them and they'll go away.

It won't effect your credit rating as these are no longer linked by address.

Forward it to him. His address, or that of his agent, must be on your tenancy agreement.
Then tell him that any further post will be returned to sender, and that his failure to register his correct address is a breach of your tenancy agreement (the bit about 'quiet enjoyment').No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Is it his old residential dwelling that he's now letting to you? If so one wonders whether he's informed his mortgage provider, insurance provider, HMRC...0

Are you basically a nice tenant or a nasty tenant?
Is your LL/tenant relationship a good one or a bad one?
Do you want it to continue, or end?

I believe the property was bought between a couple of families purely to let out... I've received post for both names....
I have had no problems with the them and if I report anything, they come straight out and fix it.
I was just worried that there would be bailiffs knocking... I suffer from anxiety and depression and didn't want any hassle.
I have phoned the landlord and asked him to collect his mail... I can't do more than that.
I really should be more careful about opening the mail... as i said, sometimes the name is obscured in the window... it was a genuine mistake.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with opening post that is delivered to your address.
If the LLs don't want you to open their mail, they can make sure it's delivered to their own addresses.0 -

I would go a step further; you should (must by law) have an address in Eng/Wales for the landlord(s) named on your tenancy agreement. Write there, politely explaining that their postal redirection service seems to have expired (no need to know whether or not they really had one!) and you suggest they therefore either renew it or advise all their correspondants of their true address.
Off to keep the mail this time for them to collect, but that in future you'll have to return it to sender as it is not properly addressed to the recipient's address.
There is no law stopping you opening mail once it is delivered to the address on the envelope - it is interfering with the mail before it is delivered that is illegal.0
