Well done on your continuing persistence and doggedness.
I heartily agree with Umko, this must be costing them a small fortune. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Thanks for your help everyone, just to let you know I had an email reply on behalf of Giles Hurley CEO of Aldi UK today and he is cancelling the Parking Charge Notice for me
thank goodness! I’m so relieved.

Just an update on this. I visited the Aldi near to me on consecutive days. I got 3 ‘fines’. First of all the store manager has the authority to cancel Parking Eye fines. They did it for me as my car is electric and they have no charger so it was not possible for me to leave it there for 24 hours and go to work. I kicked up a real stink the third time. In front of lots of customers. Aldi’s answer. I have now been registered as a member of staff so can park as long as I want! Hope that helps.2

Kicking up a stick with retailers IS the way to get these PCNs cancelled.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

so to stop this happening you need to be registered as a member of staff?
perhaps if parking eye spent some money on equipment that worked or Aldi paid for a parking attendant with boots on the ground (remember them?) . those double dips would stop0
