Snoozer, my apologies, you are right I meant Nelski, I'll blame the groggy head for now, I would use a slap face icon here. I'm sorry to read Steve has worsened, horrible for both of you.0

He's going to be susceptible to all kinds of infections, it's really easy to catch something when you have no immune system to speak of. Have you phoned the nurse again?
And you need to look after yourself too, I know it's difficult to find time or space though...Hugs.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
taff, no I've not yet. He's lying under the fan and his temp has gone down a bit. I'm a bit afraid of getting the nurse I spoke t last week.0

Pro tip for being more forceful on the phone, stand up while you're talking to her. If its the same one, and the last time he ended up in hospital having IV anti's, make sure you mention that. Make sure she knows you don't want to be in that position again. And if you don't feel comfortable talking to her, ask to speak to a different one.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Sorry about poorly Steve, snoozer. I hope the fan is helping.
We're back from the double optometry appointments, what a smoothly run clinic it was and such lovely staff too. DM has been discharged as the nerve damage identified six years ago hasn't worsened. She's got raging blepharitis so the optician recommended some wipes which I've ordered from A mazon.
Now I'm knackered dragging her around the hospital in one of those difficult to manoeuvre wheelchairs. I've eaten, for the first time today, had a cup of tea and now watching a bit of telly. My sore knee is giving me gip so I've rubbed in some gel.
Fighting on!0 -

Happy Birthday JackieO, enjoy the rest of your day.

SNOOZER so sorry Steve has gone off again. It's a worry I know. I hope you manage to speak to one of the nicer nurses. The odd one or two have a very unfortunate attitude sadly. When Bob was worsening and had the catheter in etc this officious nurse came bustling in. I was doing everything for him, changing the day and night bags, showering him or bed-bathing him, dressing him etc and happy to be doing so, when in she came throwing her weight about, saying she would arrange help for doing this, that and the other. I tried to explain I didn't want help and when the time came I would ask for it. But she more or less ridiculed me and made me feel useless, leaving me feeling I wasn't fit to be caring for him. For the first time I sat and cried. Anyway it was all for nothing, before she could arrange this help he was admitted to the hospice. But I can never forgive or forget that nurse for making me feel the way she did. Rant over, sorry I got sidetracked and I hope Steve soon starts feeling a bit better. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Snoozer, I hope Steve picks up quickly, I know how vulnerable the immune system can be so soon after treatment.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0
