If your property is the one on the right hand side of the image you posted then the main problem you face might be that concrete inspection cover in the pavement. I can't zoom in close enough on streetview, but it looks like it is a BT chamber. (there are also some chambers in front of the neighbour's house on the left)
If so, that might complicate things as it looks like the footway will be stuffed full of BT ducts and BT may insist on protection work being carried out as part of the footway lowering required for the dropped kerb.
Also, in the old days the council would have just lowered the inspection cover themselves, but now the utility companies often insist on having their contractor do such work. If that is the case then the cost of the BT work (including any protection required for the ducts) will be passed on to you by the council as part of their estimate. All I can say is be prepared for a shock if that happens.
