Mine is only a 2gb ram model and cost £180. It's more than adequate for comping, browsing, shopping etc and never had a problem with streaming either.0 -

It has SSD which makes it quick
Laptop sits on padded tray on my lap.
I have one too and am doing the same right now but with the cover instead of a cushion on a break from work. (Although I have a USB mouse). I don't have or want a smartphone or Ipad and find this is the easiest way to catch up on comping when I'm out and about.
At home I use my Macbook with a USB mouse.0 -
so far so good with my HP chromebook. I got it 2nd hand for under 100. I've still been doing some on desktop as I have hotkeys set up on there which makes certain competitions faster to enter. Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

I use a Dell XPS laptop (no idea which model it is) the screen isn't too big, but it was second hand off eBay and I find it can cope well with multiple tabs open.
I love using a laptop as I can just relax and watch tv whilst comping... until the dog has had enough and he'll put his head on the keyboard!Thank you to all posters - you are fabulous!!! :beer:0 -
I was using an ipad but it got very slow and I thought a laptop would be easier as well as quicker. I got a HP Pavilion and have to say it is amazing. I've had it a few years and love it. I thought I might benefit from a bluetooth mouse and we had one but soon found the mouse pad works well. I don't know how I put up with comping on an ipad for so long.Best wins; GoPro, £2K, Brittany week, festival tix twice, Bath break, Sweden spa break, iPhone x2, £250 Amazon x2, tech bundle, 55" TV, Haven break, £1K, Smeg mixer, 3 night spa break, Greenhouse, posh tent, house plants, 2 pairs boots, posh mattress, year tailored supps, £250 lingerie, £150 buyagift, £250 hotel0

i've not used my desktop at all today (although Feb seems so quiet for me comps wise so have not had loads to do)
Click2wins have been a pain as the adverts on the sites slow it down loads, so have been doing them on my phone as they load a lot quicker, I only do a select few. Other than that the chromebook has been great and glad I purchased... I do miss having hot keys set up but I am getting a lot more on done I thought I wouldThanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

Has to be a desktop for me as I like lots of screens. Currently got 2 x 27" monitors and 2 x 21 inch monitors. Seems like overkill but I manage to fill them all. I'll use a tablet / phone / laptop if i'm not at my desk but it takes so much longer to do anything.0
