Could I suggest that you disable facebook comments on your MSE news articles, please?

Of the top 5 news articles listed currently on the RHS, (from Sainsburys Energy closing to Mobile roaming charges after Brexit) 4 out of 5 articles currently have facebook comments attached to the end of the article ... and they are all spam.

People are using this loophole to promote their spam on MSE.

I would urge this method of commenting is disabled. People can join MSE free of charge, and post their comments in the associated discussion thread ... and any spamming dealt with in the usual way.

If you are against me, and wish to retain this method of commenting, perhaps you could include a report (and possibly a spam) button on the page so that MSE members can report the comments in the same way as forum posts that breach the forum rules can be reported .
