I know this is an old thread, but it is essentially the same deal, and I wondered if anyone could help!
I am a bit of a twit... I wanted to buy individual memebrship for each member of my family that needs it. This is because in the holidays, my children stay with each set of Grandparents, the grandparent all have individual membership, but not the one where you can take kids, so I wanted to get them their own so that theycould go with me or someone else.
When I followed the link, I didn't understand why I couldn't put in their date of birth... I only realised the next day (when I wasn't so tired...) that I had been filling in the details of the child, in the section, who was purchasing....
So I purchased a family membership, with one adult (£46). I still felt that if the quidco is received, then this is a good deal.
However last night, I managed to buy membership for my children individually, the quidco has tracked for each. (I cleared cookies in between)
Can I cancel the initial family membership? as it is unecessary with them having their own membership, and take out a single membership for myself? Again through quidco?
I am asking this, as if the quidco, does not get paid, I will be direct debited for each membership, but this will end up costing me an awful lot. I am prepared for the quidco not to come through on all the memberships, but if this is the case, I would rather have the single for myself, as appose to the family, as it's £12 cheaper and every penny counts!!
Does anyone know, how to cancel it, or have any info!!!!
Thanks
Also, does anyone know how long it takes to 'validate'?:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -

I guess you need to call the NT and cancel the one you dont want.0 -
Has anyone cancelled an existing membership before the year is up and then taken out a new membership through Quidco and it has tracked?
If this does not work, how about if I cancel it and take out another in my wife's?If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Hi
Anyone had experience of joining online and it not processing? Or taking different times for memberships taken out on the same day?
I mentioned before that I joined with a family membership, tried to cancel it, and still received the pack They never answered/acknowledged the email 2 weeks ago. As suggested here, I cancelled the DD.
I then took out a single membership for myself and one each for my kids. All on 4/5th July. 1 week ago, one child received her pack and binoculars. I have also had the DD confirmation. I have received nothing for mine or the other kids.
I called them up and they only had the one child's details, and the family one that I had been trying to cancel! This child was the third membership I applied for!
Is it normal to be processed randomly and not in order of application. She said leave it a week, and she could join them over the phone (err no thankyou!) As she was hesitant to mess about with it now.
All the memberships tracked and I received email confirmations with the 4 weekly pass. Should I be concerned?
Thanks Vix:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -
Just joined.
This has probably been asked before somewhere amidst the 12 pages but can I park for free using the temporary card?0 -
More importantly, is this still valid?
I should think that you can park with a temp card - just check before you leave your car.0 -
Cruz, yes you can park with the temp card, just show it to the person who' s taking the money for parking. I joined in September and went to two properties with temp card, no probplems.
Italiastar, yes quidco is still valid, National Trust prices migh thave gone up though, I paid £46 ish for me + kids. Individual is £36 ish I think.0 -

Ages & Prices..
18 - 25: £15.75 PA
26 - 59: £34.50 PA
60+ : £34.50
Yay for being 18 - 25, with £20 cashback = they pay me nearly £5 to join
Plus National Trust membership extends access to similar trusts in other countries which is handy.0
