Hi guys,
Was wondering if I use Amex card (Costco one) for almost every day shopping, i.e. Tesco, M&S, petrol stations, even local grocery shop, I'd still get rewards for any purchase, thank you
Regards,

Does it have a cash value? Thinking Costco membership fee would be paid off0 -
I meant can it have cash value but I doubt cause Amex is in form of vouchers to spend0

The cashback is in the form of a Costco voucher (not cash). https://www.costco.co.uk/costco-trueearnings-cardI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. ... that you can exchange for cash in Costco.0 -
Ah, did not know that - thanks. There would be no reason to not do that, because if you spend the voucher in Costco you would not get cashback on that spend.... that you can exchange for cash in Costco.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. I usually get about £150 a year back, which isn't so bad. Costco is terrible though for impulse purchases!!0

I concur with the first three words regardless of the rest
I go in exactly once a year, when I get my Amex voucher. I see my Costco membership fee as just being in lieu of a fee for the card.0 -
Can confirm that you can exchange the voucher for cash. You can even do it at the till - but only if they have enough cash allowing them to continue with sufficient float for subsequent customers (I tried, but got directed to customer services).0
