Scores on the doors for April 2020

Symbio estimation of my usage: 55.8% above EAC/12 (adjusted)
My actual usage: 23.8% below EAC/12 (adjusted)

This compared to my March actual usage being 14.8% below EAC/12 (adjusted)
So much for Symbio's proposition that we would use more electricity due to being home more due to Covid 19.

Oh, forgot to mention, Symbio recently sent me a response to my complaint I raised last January when all these shenanigans started in earnest.

Seems they agree my usage does not vary quite as much as they estimate so would I like to return to the original flate rate collection per month?
Coincidence perhaps as this is now the start of their 'summer season' of billing when presumably I should be benefitting from Symbio's lower than EAC/12 monthly collections?

There is going to come a time when this supplier's obvious cash flow issues are going to catch up with them. My question is, will this be before or after the 3 and a bit months I have left with this Symbio tariff?

I have just taken a meter read and they had over estimated my usage by 200 units for April.

Thinking ahead to the next over-estimating excuse after coronavirus, I imagine it could be that warmer weather will mean more fans and air-conditioning going on??!!

I don't think anyone at Symbio has the intelligence to understand what EAC is. Their April estimate was 53% over EAC, actual usage was 15% below EAC.

I shall be playing free kWh bingo tonight after midnight :-).

Never noticed this before but entering my FINAL meter readings (biting the bullet and just leaving), I am now forced to enter SEVEN digits for a meter reading - it is not possible to just enter "nnnnn" or "nnnnn.nn" it is necessary to enter "00nnnnn" pity it isn't possible to get dual rates on my account; still having checked the difference this would have made so far though the difference is minimal and not worth worrying about and by switching now I get a lower rate from my new supplier.

I rang this am and they confirm what tk47 found out that the exit fee would be waived.
Was it you that gave Symbio a 5 ***** review/rating today on Trustpilot ?

    EAC = 2700kWh
    Symbio April estimate : 357kWh - +63% of EAC / 12
    Actual April usage:        144kWh   -36% of EAC / 12

I gave a 5 star rating for the advisor who helped me for moving me to a cheaper tariff. Also it was headed 5 stars for Leon.

Wow have symbio started offering free electricity for 5 star reviews on trustpilot. There's a recent plethora of them. Meanwhile I still have not received my compensation promised for late return of my credit balance after I left them. Shambles of a company
