Thank you both.
Odd question, but since I was originally issued this PCN i have gotten married. They are still using my maiden name, shall i still use my maiden name or put 'new surname nee old surname'?0 -

Nothing to stop you dealing with this under your former surname. You could ask them for a rectification of your data, but they'll no doubt want some proof, like having a copy of your marriage certificate - I'd be reluctant to be issuing a copy of that to any organisation attempting to sue you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi all,
Thanks for the advice for this i really appreciate will update when i have one.
On another note, i had received another PCN from these for the same car park. The driver visited a shop at this site, ended up going over as a family member who was with the driver at the time fell over in the shop so was longer than anticipated, family member is 80 so had to make sure they were ok instead of rushing out.
Have complained to the head office as when i spoke to the shop they completely shut me down saying they can't do anything.
A ticket was purchased for 2 hrs but ran over by 45 mins roughly. Although, they offer 30 mins free parking here and then with the 2 grace periods i technically wouldn't be over but the 30 min free ticket wasn't obtained.
So short of it all is, should i appeal using the normal template? Majority doesn't really seem relevant.0 -
You should always appeal. There is a legal term (cannot think of it at the moment) which means something prevented you from leaving. Same as getting a flat battery, or puncture. Maybe you could try this if it gets as far as POPLA.0
