I don't go 'out of my way', but do check whenever I am nearby. I have an Aldi, Tesco, Asda and Lidl, all within a 2km radius of home, and a Poundland, Wilko and £-stretcher about 3-4 miles away.
I do a paracetamol/ ibuprofen swoop whenever I’m in town as I can get round savers, home bargains, Wilkinson’s and a couple of other discount places . We’re a family of four adults and I like to make sure we’ve got enough available.
I’ve noticed that the cheap paracetamol are easier to get hold of now but ibuprofen are pretty difficult to get hold of .0 -
Plenty of paracetamol and ibuprofen in Aldi today although they'd been moved from usual place.0

Blimey, how many do you get through?
Someone in chronic pain could easily get through 2 packs in just over a week though.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

With the safe dose of 8 tablets a day, it could well be almost 4 packs a week, and some people don't have any alternative.
The NHS says this:
"It's safe to take paracetamol regularly for many years as long as you don't take more than the recommended dosage"
Not great, but sometimes people have no choice. The restricted sale regulations may possibly prevent suicides, though that's in some doubt, but they do make it difficult for a lot of people just wanting reasonably priced paracetamol.0 -

Rarely go anywhere near a pharmacy, apart from the rapacious Boots. Always assumed the 32 packs they're permitted to sell would be uncompetitive.
At least you can buy 3 packs though.0 -
