  • Thanks for more replies, the possitive out comes give me hope as I thought it was a lost cause. We are the owners so with this plus some other things it has been a stressful few days. The management company have left a message to say they will be in touch. My personal opinion is the previous owner has let a friend/relative park there but is saying she knows nothing about it. If only I could get it onto the road.
    Thanks every one

Out of interest, doesn’t this come down to the whole “vacant possession” thing?

If you moved into the flat and it was full of previous owners stuff, you’d be on the phone sharpish to the solicitors to get it sorted...why is it different for the parking space which was bought as part of the sale?
  • Thank you I shall look into this. I contacted solicitors as she also left a big box of rubbish in the flat they said to send photos, which I have done. The impression I get also from estate agent is that it's nothing to do with them. It's my problem now.

All this crap, "mysteriously moved" and "someone else".

You, yes YOU, set the vehicle on fire, job done.

They are right in a way, the Estate Agent worked for the vendor not you, their job is done once completion is done.

Anything after that is your solicitor.

Why would it be anything to do with the estate agent? Your contract was with the seller.

Probably not a good idea in an underground car park. The OP and his neighbours might be needing somewhere else to live.

I suppose the parking problem would seem a more minor issue than the blackened block of flats.

Also not sure how having a burnt out car in their parking slot solves the problem.
  • Smash the window, take handbrake off, tow it onto the street?
