Sounds like a very relevant question. Where did this m sport spec come from if you didn't pick it?

The car I test drove was an Msport with A premium pack that’s the only difference

Did you actually, y'know, look at a brochure or BMW's website and determine the spec you wanted?

Or just go "Oooh, I like this one, I'll have one the same, please."?
    Is that a joke??
I assume you're replying to me?

If so, then - no - it's a serious question.

Two seconds on BMW's online configurator shows the "Premium Package" is a £1,930 option, containing panoramic roof, adjustable front lumbar support and electric seats with driver's side memory (+£100 for both sides having memory plus "active ventilation").

Outside the package, electric front seats with driver's side memory would be a £930 option, or £1,045 for both memories plus ventilation.

I can't believe you spent that much money without checking the details.

I still love the car, lie I said the dealer is looking into for me, hopefully get it resolved.

Yes, hope your problem gets resolved, perhaps something knocked off whatever parts of the premium pack you choose if any? not sure what they can do with the sunroof though?

But to be honest if I ordered a BMW with a panoramic sunroof, I would perhaps notice it was not there, before actually taking delivery? LOL:rotfl:

Not sure why you'd think BMW would knock anything off the premium pack he didn't pay for.

Quite. And they certainly aren't going to take the car he did order back and put another on order, simply because he didn't look at the spec/order form.

But a free service as a sorry? P'raps.
  • Having recently test driving a new BMW I was informed by the salesman that the car I drove would be exactly the same as the car I would get if I bought it. I decided to order the car and join taking delivery I realised the specification was different. How do I stand do i have any rights?
I’d agree that if you bought the car that you tested, or the same model anyway, that it should drive the same.

What was different about the one you bought?

And why did you order a different spec?
