This has probably been raised on this thread before but I'd be interested to know how people handle it. If you book something to be done, like your car or boiler being serviced, or the chimney being cleaned, technically speaking you only spend the money on the day you pay for it. But it still feels really wrong to call the day you book it an NSD, because you've arranged to spend the money, even though it doesn't leave your account on that day, it leaves your account on the day the plumber etc does the work and charges you. Have other people felt this sort of clash before? ...

At the end of the day it is entirely up to you what & when you choose to count. Your rules, your choice.

  • mon-fri this week past I think i only had one spend day. both sat & sun were spend days but not too expensive.
Hoping the last 4 days of feb will be spend free, if so i'll have reached exactly 50% (14/28)

Oh yes I know beanielou, just wondering if anyone else ever feels an emotional clash over this issue though? When I took the car in I technically didn't spend anything on it that day but I still felt it was somehow wrong to think of it as an NSD because I had made a choice to spend money.

Anyway it's 6/8 for me today, might make target by the skin of my teeth! :)

I think I might be too actually.
Hoping for all NSD's until the 28th.

Good luck with your bonus NSD's Beanie. Forgot to update yesterday so I'm now at 16/15. Should be able to make that 17 by the end of the day. xx
