You don’t need to, I preempted you might say that.

She said contact your local branch by telephone and they could pop one in the post.

You receive a benefit.
Regardless that you never see the money.
You ARE entitled to an entitlement letter!!!

PS...took the number off the NI Housing Exec website for HB enquiries and they answered in theee rings, not bad eh, mustn’t be busy.

Like I said in the first post and since then multiple times, I posted this because I was told differently. I did contact my local branch by phone, who told me that they would not provide an entitlement letter for credit purposes. They asked for the reason. Are you still on the phone to this mystery woman?! Seems very different to my experiences with them, it usually takes me at least 5 minutes to convince them I haven't called the wrong office and do in fact live in NI as soon as they hear my English accent.

Course not.

I just rang and got the information I required.

She’s not a mystery woman.

You receive a benefit, end of.

You are entitled in writing to see what you are entitled to, end of.

I don’t believe what your saying, when I can get hold of this information and I don’t even live in NI or am a tenant there.

They have given me the information. You can get hold of the proof you require very easily.

Now...

2 options...

1) Do as I have said which has been confirmed by YOUR NI housing exec.

OR

2) Tell the CC company you can’t get proof so can’t accept the increase.

Very easy!

You would of got a letter when you applied for HB anyway, they always respond telling you when your benefit starts from and how much, so don’t say you didn’t because you would of.

Case closed.

You should really find something better to do with your life than phoning up random government departments to try to prove people on the interned wrong. End of.

As I said, I have done a subject access request to get the required information. End of.

We're visiting there in May for the Fringe Festival, and have accommodation in Kemp Town near St Mary's Church - with no breakfast, so anywhere near there that does a nice light breakfast would be especially helpful! Housebound as in I cannot leave the house on my own. My partner will be joining me in Brighton and looking after me. Hence the 'we'. Anyone else wanna have a pop?!
