Hello all,
Sorry for repeat post but I couldn't find it when I searched so started a new one. I've already done a POPOLA but with images on the outside only. The decision went against me unfortunately. So I'm not sure what the next steps are. It's quite frustrating0 -
I did already tell you what to do for your stage, three times now.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What stage am I at? Is this a LBC letter? I know you have the threads but when you're new to this, it's hard to understand what you need to do.

You seem to be at debt collector 'laugh at the letters' stage, as per post #4 of the NEWBIES thread, but soon you will be at LBC and will need to read post #2 of it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

How do I know who the PPC legal team are? It says to write them a letter but I don't know if they have a legal team or not?0

No it doesn't say to write to them at 'ignore the debt letters' stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

ok, cool. I'll ignore them as you've said in the newbie post

But...
I've moved into a new address and they keep sending to my old address (all my DVLA details are up to date) yet they keep sending letter to my old address. Can I do anything about that?0 -

Yes. Tell the scammers your new address for service. Send it to their DPO. Details should be on the scammers privacy page.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Are you saying that PoPLA found for the PPC despite their use of the word "fine"?
Did you include this point in your appeal? If so, then their decision is flawed. A PPC must not pass itself off as local authority, it is a breach of their ATA's code of practice and possibly fraud, complain to your local Trading Standards Department. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Yes, email the DPO of CEL, using the contact in their PRIVACY page.
Ask them to 'erase' the old address data and rectify it to (new address) only.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
