Ooh that's a good idea @Sarahwithlove I wonder if a topper would work with a memory foam mattress? I don't think I've ever used a topper but just found quite a good one on Dunelm for £50...it's pretty tempting.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time

Sadly our kingsize mattress won't fit in our car even forced in to a fold so I need someone to take it away. I'd order a new mattress in a heartbeat if I could dispose of my old one easily enough.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time

You can put them on top of any mattress I believe as you hold it on over the 4 corners like a sheet. Have you looked to see if your local council offer a chargeable service ours does.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

I made my first post here on 6th Jan 2015 (6 years and 24 days ago) and after a few false starts, what a journey it has been!
Today, I made my final payment to my credit card, excluding my mortgage I am now officially debt free with just over £3k in savings (useful to have whilst I sit in my house with a broken boiler awaiting a £400 fix) 6 years ago that would have been a loan repayment holiday or adding to CC debt.
Thank you all for joining me on this adventure, there have been tough times and there have been good times but 100% I couldn't have done this without your words of advice and encouragement.
Updated signature too! I can't believe it's over.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time

Fantastic. Well done and I would get yourself over to the debt free roll of honour thread.
