  • Please may I join? Not sure if I was on the list for January? But anyway after a re-think I’d like to change from monthly to annually (hope that’s ok) as I’d like to do some stockpiling for the dreaded ‘B’ word and make the most of any money off vouchers that I get sent... total spend up to today = £116.02.

    £116.02/£3000
    TOTAL DEBT @ 01.02.20. = £21,452.67
  • I'm in too please.

My groceries are usually under £200 a month, I live alone with two little dogs. My DD and DGD are moving closer to me and will be here in the next few days and I will be cooking for all three of us 3-4 times a week, probably. I'm therefore going to see how I go by adding £25 a week to my budget, so £300 for February. I have no idea if this is going to work yet, this thread will, I believe, help me sort out a realistic budget and stick to it.

  • Hi, can be put down for £80 for the month, with a separate fund of £20 for alcohol. My food spends starts as of now, but my alcohol budget runs from February 1st, as I'm doing 'Dry January'.

I need to see what I get paid and sort my budget for everything out for Feb before I set a budget.
It'll likely be £200 but may have to lower it slightly.

Still have some receipts to tally up from Jan before declaring!

  • Hi everyone

Feb GC for Highland Fling £100 please.
  • I'm still in January's budget but I'd like to start on Feb 1st with a budget of £120 please. I didn't manage to keep within that in Jan but I'm hoping to learn and move on!

Thanks for the new thread, Elsie. Please put me down for £120 as usual. I’m debating whether to do £50 February again but, right now, don’t have the inspiration.

  • Thanks, Elsie for keeping us going.

I’m in again but upping the budget to £70.00 this month, mainly because of the non-food items I need to get; especially household & cleaning stuff also need to replace some storage containers for the freezer.
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Hi all and thanks for the new thread!

I'm in for February with £350 again please.

Same as last month but I have a bit of stocking up to do and we all know January has 45632135 days in it...... so I'm still slogging away over there for another week yet!
