DECEPTION
The excess pollution caused by vehicles supplied as part of VW's fraud harms all of us contributing to hundreds of premature deaths annually and causing toxic air pollution in our cities.
And you bought your diesel for it's green credentials, ye right, pull the other one its got bells on it.0 -
I can see your claim winning, Your defence you bought a smelly diesel to save the planet and save peoples health and VW have deprived you of your vehicle because the instant you knew it threw out more emissions than they originally stated you have had to stop driving the vehicle and its been parked up ever since?
NO? Why not.
Class action againt any VW diesel driver who contued to drive their vehicle after knowing the emissions were going to cause health issues to everyone else?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Perhaps suing VW drivers is the way forward for us mere mortals who are choking to death on their fumes

"If you’ve ever owned a diesel VW, Audi, Skoda or Seat you might be eligible to claim back the ENTIRE PURCHASE PRICE OF YOUR CAR!
This is because VW group deliberately misled you about how high your car's emissions were.
The extra emissions damaged both the environment and your car's performance.
In the US, VW have already been successfully taken to court and on average car owners won around £5,000."
Straight away, you should have tasted the aroma of BS.
In fact you have probably gain from the test as the results are what they base the VED banding on.0 -
Still no actual reply to my question, "Anyone else dealing with something similar ? "
Apologies if the overall subject "has been done to death" on these boards before but as you can see clearly I am a newbie to the MSE Forums, however judging from the answers left so far these forums seem to be just a baiting/fishing area.
I can't wait to post/ask something controversial here for all the cyber warriors to attack.0 -

I'll try to answer;
if the emails are from the company you are dealing with, then they are genuine. Problem is, you went looking for this compensation found this website with a krap 'phishing' url put your details into it and waited for your check. They may have sold your details, they may still be on the case. You have to make the leap of faith whether you trust them or not with the details they ask for. Somewhere down the line you MIGHT get a check, but more than likely nothing will come of it and they will have a nice database of people they can sell on, so its win win for them.
Just read the last couple of sentences of your orginal post, as you have not heard back I would say they were phishing for information.
OK, having just had a look on the net, the company you are dealing with is SPG law, they are american (ambulance chasing no win no fee type leeches) so cannot deal with it in the UK, in their FAQs they say they have partnered with Excello Law so thats who should be contacting you.0 -

tonyh66 & Johno100 now that's more like it, this was more like the replies I expected from the MSE forum members.
I tend to agree it seems a dubious way to gain my information.0 -
If you don't give them your details it is possible you will be liable for charges on work already done. Check the agreement you entered into.0
-
Absolutely. There was a post very recently where someone was told exactly that, that they were liable for costs based on the agreement they entered into.0
