This is called a ghost ticket. A PPC puts a ticket on the windscreen and takes a photo of it. Miraculously this disappears by the time the motorist gets back to the vehicle.

It happens a lot in PPC world. It's as if a person or persons "unknown" has removed the ticket with malice aforethought. What a jolly jape.
Now I wonder who would have done such a thing thus meaning the motorist now knows nothing about it until the NTK arrives meaning the keeper no longer has the opportunity to pay a reduced amount.
Think very hard, who gains financially by this act?

This is the third ghost ticket seen on this forum in two days. Unfortunately without evidence it is impossible to prove who removed the ticket.

The NEWBIES is not a quick read. You need brews and biscuits and you need to sort out which bits are relevant.

To start with we need to know the name of the PPC. Is this Indigo since you mention their app? What is the name of the PPC that appears on the station car park signs?
Who is the creditor? (Who does it say on the letter that the keeper should pay?)

I have looked on NEWBIES and to be honest I have no idea where to start! There are so many things listed there I don't know what I am looking for. It's really confusing - sorry. I am trying you know - I want this sorted out!

Don't panic. Don't rush. Where byelaws apply it will time out after six months. You just need to go through the motions and run the clock down until then.

Feel Free to PM if you wish to receive one to one support. Please note I charge a small fee for one to to one service. However this is done via email and is good value for money.
Parkingfines, that's an unusual signature you have there.

    Somewhat surprised to see that.

Especially as it may be in breach of MSE rules.

But who runs the car park? This may not be the same company as the one that takes payment. We need you to answer the specific questions already asked.

Ignore them. Indigo are actually powerless to do anything. The contract they have says they cannot prosecute.

After 6 months tell them to delete your details.

I have no idea, I will see if any local FB group can help me. Either that or I will look tonight.
