Sure its a NtD and not a Notice to Keeper, given it came through the post, presumably to the Keeper as registerd at the DVLA??

Did it come to the right address, if not then send a Rectification Notice by email.

And as this is still recent, and easier to get evidence now, can you get from the spare phone provider, proof of how long you tried to connect with phone number xxxxx xxxxxx on xx date, at xx time? It will be VERY good as evidence - easier to get from the phone company sooner rather than later - otherwise it's your word against theirs:

I tried to call the helpline but believe it or not my appointment was to sort my phone out as it was unusable (but had a spare). The phone rang and rang, was not getting through to anyone.

I am fighting an faulty machine case at the moment (Excel). Keep all the letters. Excel will try to add on a £60.00 debt collectors fee (DRP Collections). DRP operate on a no collection, no fee basis (hat tip to Beamer for that one). It's abuse of process and could be classed as unreasonable behaviour.

Yes it is a notice to Driver...

Its a lease car.... I declared myself as the driver... so my lease company do not go forth and try to pay for it....

So they send details to my address now

My phone situation was very brief, my primary phone was unusable so I was using an old one very temp. My sim would not fit in the old one so was using a PAYG sim.

So that info may be difficult to retrieve.
