I have used them in the past to buy foreign currency and had no problems. Tonight I tried to get an Instant Access Savings Account with them, twice. Each time the site just stopped after I had filled in all my details. Is it a problem for anyone else? Could it be a hacker?0

I've had a HiSave account since 2007 - after a while I withdrew everything but £1 as customer service was rubbish - website barely functional, painful phone calls to India, etc. They've been very poor at sending correspondence - I should have got an annual statement from them at least, but I haven't received anything at all.
Unless you're desperate for the extra 0.05%, I'd stick with Marcus.0 -
Their website is pretty bad, I couldn't even register because the first line of my address has symbols in it.
I've gave up on it, the extra 0.05% interest is not worth the trouble to go through their customer service.0 -

I totally agree with you, Marcus website (both design and functions) and customer service are much better.0 -
I have ICICI accounts in India. Their customer service over phone is good but website is pathetic. The UK website is even worse. This crappy website has been the same over a decade. Not sure why they never read any feedback.Bank accountsSantander : 17 year relationship, 0 problems to date.0

Because they are too busy to deal with customer complains about their website!:rotfl:DarkShadow wrote: »I have ICICI accounts in India. 100% agree with this, based on my own experience with ICICII've had a HiSave account since 2007 - after a while I withdrew everything but £1 as customer service was rubbish - website barely functional, painful phone calls to India, etc. They've been very poor at sending correspondence - I should have got an annual statement from them at least, but I haven't received anything at all.

I also had an ICICI savings account a few years ago. Gave up on them when I couldn't get an annual interest statement.0

I have not received any email from ICICI confirming either application I made last night so I assume when they jammed they did not go through. I will try something nearer home now.0
