Just done a hhc, tried to post before I started, but something was playing up (phone/internet/website) and I was just wasting time. In my 30 mins I:
Put the washing on
Cleaned up the kitchen
Loaded the dw & put it on
Wudupa the 'hand wash only' items
Wiped the kitchen worktops
Sorted the change bag/day bag
Hung all the coats up that got dumped when we got in earlier (grrrr)
Tidied round the dining room (including clearing the table - woohoo)
Got Pickle a snack of raspberries & blueberries
Got Pickle a snack of choc buttons (why did he ask me for a snack just as I was starting?)
Cleared the hallway of gibble
Took everything upstairs
Tidied what I could of the living room, not wanting to put the toys away that Pickle is actually playing with.
I need to do a hhc on the upstairs and in the loft office at some point today, but I'm resting now as I'm not well and that was a good burst of energy.

Not much done here this afternoon But I have:
WM x 1 and now in TD
Taken all the meat of the leg of lamb from yesterday and peeled veg for tonight dinner
Had text chat with friend who is house bound with bad knee and aranged to visit tomorrow
Cleared up after preparing food and put stuff back immediately after using it therefore NOT made a mess!
So not so bad after all, writing it down makes me realize that I have done something so now feel more motivated to do another load of washing and take a second cup of tea up to the bedroom and put a few more bits away. My priority is putting stuff away straight away and keeping up to date in done parts of the house, I will not allow it to go backwards this time.0 -
Welcome back, Crowdpleaser and welcome K80 Black!
Very sorry to hear the news about your friends in Madagascar, Froddington. (((Hugs))) I think five things a day is a heck of a lot, considering how long some things take. I'm limiting myself to what's in the diary for the day and no more, and last week even that was too ambitious. Most things don't need to be done urgently; they need to be done in good time, so most can wait a bit.
Where does the day go? A few hours at the Foodbank, shopping, putting it away, cooking a few things that needed dealing with straight away, dealing with the post - and it's 6.00 pm; I've been flat out since I got up and I don't feel as though I've made an inch of progress. Maddening.Better is good enough.0 -
Woo-hoo.
Had a meeting today. To advise them of 'any additional skills' [strike]that make it worth making another member off staff redundant in preference to me[/strike] that might not have been shared previously.
Just got to tell Himself now. [starts countdown to his next purely coincidental meltdown at the mere thought of earning a living]
Happy Monday.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Evening all
Thank you for the lists. I’m here, I ran out of time this morning to post. I was also suffering from a lack of sleep last night so I probably would not have been coherent anyway.
Welcome back to all returners.:j
I’ve just emptied the wm that DH switched on when he came home, and am stirring pasta for dinner while I type. That and clearing up after dinner may well be the sum total of my flying today.

Hi there,
I’m in please 😁
House definitely looking better 😁 still some way to go but getting there.
However not much done today as full day at work (and an extra hour at home finishing off paperwork ) 😡
Dailies done, dogs walked, tea eaten and dishwasher loaded.
Just going to change into PJs , make a cuppa and watch tv.
DH on late shift so I am in complete control of the remote 😁
Another full day tomorrow but then 2 days off to catch up on the lists.
See you soon x0 -
Evening all x
Paid stuff done, had my yearly medical today. Blood pressure fine, lung capacity 114%, hearing better than most teenagers  pity I'm still totally washed out after the lurgy_pale_ Mr M shop on the way home. Since I got in I have...
Closed the windows
Put shopping away
Sorted fridge out
Made dinner
DD decluttered to dancing
Dishes washed up
Bunkers washed
Jammies on and a cup of tea made.
Off for a bit of telly time xxI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

I'm up but it's snowing hard so might have to rethink my day. Supposed to be going for coffee with a friend who is housebound but I don't like driving in snow so might leave it until a bit later and pop in on my to work when I have to be out anyway. Hopefully the roads will at least be sorted if I leave it a bit later.
Work all afternoon and then straight off to see DD1, she studies in next door big city which is about 40 minutes drive away and as we haven't seen her since Christmas thought we would go and take her out for dinner. Snow should have moved on by then.
Bed is made
Dirty clothes off floor and in washing basket
Living room is tidy
OH unloaded DW
Going to put WM on, have breakfast and maybe look at finances (I'm not yet managing to keep up with logging and tracking all spending but it's getting there) or sort a little bit more in the bedroom (work in progress)
Hugs to all0
