full day at the chalkface today.

    TD x 2; WM x 1, DW x 1. All emptied.

I rather suspect that'll be it for today.

    Morning every, hello again returners.

Dailies are done, dogs are walked, dining room/LR is dusted of a fashion, bags prepped for various meetings today, hard floor downstairs have been swept and I'm just about to check banking before going out for first appt.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Hey all, I'd like to join if I may. I have trouble keeping on top of daily chores, and have finally got my flat to a state where it's just maintaining. To stop it becoming a hovel again, I'm going to do at least the level 1 suggested here each day. So, I'm off to give my kitchen a wipe down, wish me luck!

Morning all - I'm in! Thanks Valli :A

Had some sad news :( A Guider I met in Madagascar has died along with her family when floods caused a landslide that destroyed 5 houses :( Such a shock and a waste :(

Hugs for all those feeling poorly or dealing with carp at the moment xx

Welcome to all newbies and returners x

I've decided that less is more and I need to limit the amount of things I put on my list each day. I look at the list, stress about the amount of jobs I need to do and, more often than not, end up doing nothing :o So, I'm going to aim for 5 things a day.

Working Tues and Fri this week and out to lunch today (with Dad) and Weds (with a friend).

    So, a (hopefully) doable list!

    Manic Monday - Kitchen Kapers

    Clear sides and wipe down
Clear and clean sink and accessories
Wipe down all cupboard and drawer fronts
    Clean hob
    Vacuum floor

Afternoon all. Thank you Valli for the list this week :D
My arthritis is playing up in my fingers and I'm not able to do too much, I can't even do as much of my cross stitching I would like :(

I have a couple of letters to write but can't decide whether to hand write them or type them..although I think one letter will be hand written :D

WB FBO to the fold :D

I think I will tackle level one and then then see if I can progress from there :D

I'm going to take the dog for a walk once I am dressed, yep I'm still in my dressing gown :D

So for today my list is as follows:
        1. Get dressed
        2. Write up one letter
        3. Post letters
        4. Walk Banjidog
        5. Hoover upstairs
        6. Strip and redo bed
        7. Iron DH's shirts for the week

Manic Monday - Kitchen Kapers/Dining Room

        Level 1

        Clear sides and wipe down
Replace what lives there, wiping as you go
        Empty bin
Wipe sill, sockets, door handles and switches
Clear and clean sink and accessories
        Clean/polish table - wipe mats/change cloth

      • Here we go again for another week. Not much flying done yet today but home now for the rest of the day and keeping moving will hopefully keep me warm, it is freezing cold here.

We did get a few things done at the weekend, yes could have done loads more but progress is progress however slow. Living room, kitchen and bathroom are all still tidy and washing is under control. So I am pleased with that. It has been 3 weeks since I set myself the objective of just keeping up with what is tidy. I started in the kitchen and living room as rooms we use the most and have gone from there very slowly. Bedroom will be the next room I start sorting and tidying bit by bit. I have noticed, doing the other rooms, that for ages I do bits and bobs but see no real progress and then suddenly it really starts to look better which motivates me to keep at it and finish.

Going to collect up cloths and teatowels and get a wash on, then see what takes my fancy.

Natty do whichever causes the least hurt to your poor paws (for me, that'd be typing).

Oh dear, I only seem to make it here once a week these days.:( Still trying to spend the time actually Flying rather than just posting about Flying, iyswim.

I'm off my feed again - but I guess it'll reduce the grocery bill if I'm not eating much, so not all bad.

Need to throw the vacuum round in a bit, as Bessie Spaniel will be arriving tomorrow. It's only an overnight stay, but it'll be lovely to see her, nonetheless.

Also plumber is due later to fix leaky boiler (I have an old dog food carton under it to catch the drips, currently) so I shall be making myself scarce and leaving Mr Wolf to deal with him. Don't know how long he'll be here, so dins will be decided when he leaves.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Made a pie filling first thing and left it to cool.

4 mile run with club done first thing.

Home and have cleaned the oven. I bunged oven pride in it yesterday and washed it out today. Looks much better if not perfect.

Have made the pie and decluttered some lunch.

Need to go fold some clean washing and hang up some wet.

Then will crack on with level 1 I think

        Xx
