What to do if only just found out about a PCN at late stage

  • A FOIA request has finally unearthed what I'm assuming to be the company that owns the property at the site where the PCN was issued. The council reported that 101 Dishley Ltd (https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/company/07610299-dishley-101-limited) has been responsible for the rates since 22nd Feb, this is 10 days after the shop that was operating from there closed.

Given that there where NPM signs up at the site before does that mean that the contract for enforcement might have been made with the tenants and not the land owner? If this was the case would the contract no longer be enforceable?

Companies search show two individuals listed as directors, one a Solicitor and one a chartered surveyor. Given the professional nature of the occupations for these individuals would it change any thing in respect to the communication I make with them?

Was thinking along the lines of the non-enforceable contract / trespass issue. Would pointing this out make it more or less favorable that they'd assist in getting the Parking management company to cancel?

I've just been handed some post from the old house, it dates from just before I notified ZZPS of the new address. The new post is from QDR, would it be wise to also advise them of the new address or should ZZPS have forwarded on details of the new address?

I've had noting received at the new address yet in relation to the case.

You need all organisations trying to do you damage to be corresponding with the most current address. There is nothing in it for you to have them doing anything otherwise.

Trying to unravel a situation where you have a default CCJ as a result of correspondence going to a former address is not only a PITA to resolve, it is likely to turn out costly for you.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Send QDR a letter like the one described in post #8 and ask for copies of all photos taken and all letters sent, as well as making it clear about the old address needing to be fully erased immediately by all agents of NPE, and the correct address for service used instead. State what that is, again.
