Consequences of not paying a CCJ

Apparently I have a CCJ from 2016. I never received court papers because they were sent to my mum's house. She moved by the time the CCJ was applied for.
I have never had credit or been on electoral role at that house so the CCJ isn't showing on my credit profile.
I don't work. I don't own my house. Baliffs don't have the same rights in Scotland to enter our homes....so what are the consequences of not paying the CCJ?
I've never paid. I'm sure after 6 years it will no longer be enforceable anyway? Correct me if I'm wrong

You're thinking of statute barred debts.
CCJs remain enforceable, even after 6 years.0 -

Let me correct you....
I rent
I have mobile phone contracts
Home phone
Gas/electric on direct debit schemes
This ccj was applied for at my mum's house. Not mine.
It's been since 2016....and I've had all of the things your saying I can't have.
I don't want to pay the ccj. I didn't even know I had it. Simple. You may or may not agree....but I asked for advice not judgement. I dispute the debt.0 -
Why don’t you want to pay it?
What’s the reason for that other than avoidance?0 -

Just because you were able to get those things before doesn't mean you will be trouble free in the future and going on your reponses I wouldn't be surprised if you were more than economical with the truth with some of your answers on the application, especially previous addresses.
I wasn't judging you but merely listing the possibilities of what can happen with a CCJ, they may happen or they may not, it depends on the company. You clearly are a know it all who doesn't want to listen to anything anyone says unless it fits in with your narrow minded view so there's no point anyone bothering to answer any question you post again on this site. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. CCJ are recorded against you personally, not an address. If you look on the 3 free credit agencies (Experian via MSE Credit Club, CallCredit via Noddle and Equifax via ClearScore) you should see it on there.
The time to dispute the CCJ was when you incurred the debt and didn't pay it back which has escalated up the chain. Perhaps you got lucky on the phone contract and the provider doesn't care about it.
After 6 years it goes from your credit file but there is nothing to stop them from taking other steps to recover the money if they so wish, such as an attachment of earnings.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

As Gary pointed out you started 2 threads, 1 the other day and 1 last month, what other advice are you after.0

Someone like me reads what you have posted here, reads your request for advice for help following your car accident and instead of telling you the steps that would very much help on that thread has a little chuckle as the word “karma” springs to mind.
And this is not judging you at all, just being thankful that you brightened a dull morning.

It appears you have "slipped through the cracks" here due to a seris of lucky breaks.
The law regarding defaults in Scotland is the same as England and Wales, in that the default will stay on your credit file for six years.
If the creditor has been to court they will usually have up to 20 years to start 'enforcing' the decree and you cannot use the Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act to dispute you owe the debt.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
