Let’s add a non-judgemental and real consequence then.

Someone like me reads what you have posted here, reads your request for advice for help following your car accident and instead of telling you the steps that would very much help on that thread has a little chuckle as the word “karma” springs to mind.

And this is not judging you at all, just being thankful that you brightened a dull morning.

That's says more about you than the OP.
  • @OP Are you aware of what the debt is and who issued it??

Or are you just not interested in who issued it and don't want to pay it??

If it is the latter, just to settle your curiosity find out where it came from and take it from there.
Honestly a CCJ may not appear now on your file but when it does, you will only regret not finding out where it was from and trying to settle it.

In this day in age putting stumbling blocks on an already hard and rocky path just isn't worth it.
    Good luck

On what basis do you dispute the debt? Non-receipt if the paperwork is not a valid defence, because it's up to you to update your contact details with your creditors.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
