Was more to do with scapegoating than a particular failing of the government. Which I think you probably understood. But if you press me, I would suggest the narrative that the reason you can't get a job/gp appointment/school place for your kid is because of freedom of movement. It has nothing to do with cuts to education etc0 -
Steve Bray - anti brexit campaigner - attacked by brexiteers in Westminster.

Own it, brexiteers.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
I think people will be disappointed. As well as losing their skills those guys probably didn’t use the NHS much and probably were very efficient in their use of accommodation so won’t free up much housing.
Do you mean that they live 20 to a three bedroom house and engaged in hotbedding? As for skills, some were very good but many called themselves (pick a trade) when they hadn’t a clue. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

Is that actually true? He announced last month that he was stopping his protest but one month later there is an allegation that he was attacked and scram seems to be the only source.
This is scram news:

Our agency will also get to spend an extra fortune visiting the EU agency that used to be local.
The local economy will also be suffering a huge loss in business visitors who were paying for hotels and food and shopping. They still are, but in the EU.
Ah.
I will just leave this here:

Another Herzlos blooper then - unless anybody seriously thinks that these companies will spend nothing.0 -

Ah yes, the so-well-known ultra-reliable news source scramnews with it's 4 subscribers who pay a total of £3-91 per week to show their support.

I wonder if one of them is mayonnaise?0 -

So they can't be driving up our house prices much?
How's that any different to Brits working in, say, Saudi?Thrugelmir wrote: »Likewise people have earnt/accumulated good money here over the past decade or so. Sufficient to return home and start businesses, buy a home etc. Cost of living is still very much cheaper across parts of Eastern Europe.
If they are making good money, why are they all deciding now to give up and go home? Why aren't they being replaced by new keen go-getters?Ah yes, the so-well-known ultra-reliable news source scramnews with it's 4 subscribers who pay a total of £3-91 per week to show their support.

Are you saying they faked up the video on the page too? Or did you just discredit it without reading?
Plus, I'm sure he was misquoted about giving up. I think he was just changing tack from "Stop Brexit" to "Rejoin the EU".Ah.

It sounds like you're firing these things off without reading or analyzing them in any detail.
The article is basically saying that 1441 EU based firms applied for a license from the FCA, about 1000 of which don't have UK offices, ergo some of them may be looking at a UK presence. Some might even be looking at more than a brass plaque.
Will these banking offices make up for the 890 staff and 36000 annual visitors the EMA has taken to Amsterdam? It is sort of good news - there could be low thousands of high paid jobs opening up in the UK post Brexit, though it's a few hundred thousand short of offsetting the losses it's a least a step in the right direction.0 -

I have watched it. Even a numpty like Bray should not be harassed in the street even though he harassed plenty of people himself. But he wasn’t attacked. He tripped over himself trying to recover his hat.The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

You have watched it and you clearly saw he was being tripped. 9 seconds in. Why the denial? Was it you?Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0
