Brexit the economy and house prices part 7: Brexit Harder

Ah, so those demanding 2nd ref are not jokers?
No. All the indications are that the mood has changed, so it makes sense to test it again before making huge changes. If the mood has changed and we do want to remain, then by all means we can have a 3rd if the mood seems to swing back to leaving.
What baffles me most is that if the people do still want to leave, a 2nd referendum seals it completely. Brexiteers should be demanding a 2nd referendum like Farage and Reese-Mogg have both suggested.0 -

The advice was based on the assumption that the fire suppression systems worked and that the cladding wouldn't spread it around the building. The advice being bad is because dangerous materials were fitted.0 -
I think that is the problem with the NHS. It's not the service, it's the amount of people using it.
Population is getting older and requires more specialist treatment. 1 in 8 people already work in the heathcare sector in this country. No easy answers. One that money alone won't answer. Nor Labours proposed 4 day working week.0 -
What gets me is, all parties say all this. Invest this, spend this and that. But not one party has the guts to say they'll control immigration.
I believe the Conservatives said this and then didn't do it. More than half of immigration to the UK is under domestic control.I think that is the problem with the NHS. It's not the service, it's the amount of people using it.
What about those who work in the NHS? I have relatives who are NHS employees in specialist fields who weren't born in the UK.It should be only used by people who are British citizens. Charge tourists and immigrants using it.
I've had a British passport for more than 20 years, but if I didn't I believe I'd pay the same tax as you do on the same income, therefore should have the same rights.
I would probably agree to a limited waiting period though, or a minimum number of NICs (I have 2 years from when I was at school, so this should probably be the maximum).💙💛 💔0 -

Which is mostly the old white british who don't like being seen by a foreign doctor.
And mostly self inflicted through ignorance/arrogance.
Rather than leaving the EU to save the NHS, they should cut down on their beer, fags, cakes & biscuits. But some people feel better blaming foreigners. It should be only used by people who are British citizens. Charge tourists and immigrants using it.
That is the current system already.0 -
The Labour Party say they will hold another referendum IF THEY ARE IN POWER.
However as a firm Brexit party I assume they would at the same time be campaigning for Brexit to win the referendum.
As a remainer, if I had a vote I would have to vote for the Lib Dem’s (firm Remain Party) or vote tactically to reduce the Conservative Party (VERY firm Brexit party) winning a majority. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
I now see that Corbin has detailed the two questions that would be asked in the referendum.
1) leave the EU with a sensible deal
Or
2) remain
So even the questions will be loaded in favour of Brexit. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

It’s one question in a referendum not two, and that would obviously not be the question on the ballot paper.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Exactly. I just don't think most Leave voters feel that strongly about it happening, outside of the raving Shouty McShouters who were already voting for UKIP or the BNP.
