You prove my point, thank you, you really believe that once we leave no Brit will ever be allowed to live or work in the EU again..."I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0 -
Numbers are hard to come by but from a 2012 news article:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17702226
2003 - 2012 Porsche had sold around 1,500 Porsche Cayennes in Greece since the launch of the luxury car nine years before.
In same article:
Income tax receipts in Greece as a percentage of GDP in 2012 were only 4.7%, the lowest in the eurozone and less than half the 10% in the UK.
Not sure what was meant by the income tax figures. I've seen figures of 39 and 34 percent respectively.
Sad but somehow you edited the quote so you did not have to admit you had posted a LIE
QUOTE
It was a figure that made a spokesman at Porsche laugh. Lukas Kunze says the story is "ridiculous". In total, they had only sold around 1,500 Porsche Cayennes in Greece since the launch of the luxury car nine years ago.

A lie is a lie. However if people like you BUGLAWTON repeat a lie often enough......There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
On a per capita basis, that is actually true up to the point where the crisis hit Greece.
Just another lie.
Why not try more Porsche sold relative to the average sea temperature.
It is a lie, however if people like you COGITO repeat a lie often enough........
I suppose a lie on a red bus is very much the same as a lie about Porsche sales to you. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
May's deal minus the Backstop or with a legal exit date will be a good start, remember this is only a withdrawal agreement. Once that is done and dusted we can look at a good trading deal the remaining EU. Im all for having a good trading deal with our neighbours...
I agree that we need a deal and soon.
Sitting down in April to start trade talks with our large neighbour may have a positive outcome.
However leaving without a deal would mean we would be trying to sit down with potential trade partners that have been DAMMAGED by Britain’s action. How does anyone think that would turn out. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Just because you choose not to believe something doesn’t make it a lie.0 -
Just because you choose not to believe something doesn’t make it a lie.
We were talking about a very specific piece of information and data. We weren't talking about something subjective like "X is better than Y" - we were talking about the actual number of Porsche Cayenne sold in Greece. "Belief" has nothing to do with it. Whether one "chooses to believe" that, I don't know, the UK population is 100 million people doesn't make it so!
The logical fallacies of Brexiteers never cease to amaze!0 -
More bickering I see.
The main plan still doesn't seem to have changed. It's a game of chicken, with May desperately clinging onto tweaks to her Deal.
We could have done all this in 6 months, not ~3 years.0
