Sorry but either you didn't understand the ruling or it is you that is lying. The PM didn't get called out for lying by the supreme court, or did you mean to say that the Scottish judges that did impute the PM are the highest court in the land?
Lady HaleThe decision to advise Her Majesty to prorogue parliament was unlawful because it had the effect of frustrating or preventing the ability of parliament to carry out its constitutional functions without reasonable justification.
Boris' claim that proroguing parliament was intended to allow his exciting legislative programme to be brought forward was judged, quite rightly, to be a lie. His intention was to frustrate parliament from carrying out its constitution functions.
Now you could argue that I don't know his intentions but, as I said yesterday, Boris must've been advised that any defence of acting in good faith that relied on his personal credibility would be doomed to failure.
Dress it up how you like. He lied and got called on it. Water off a duck's back.0 -

Boris has been called out for lying by the highest court in the land - I can understand why that stings but, despite these 'assumed powers', he is able to simply shrug it off and continue shouting Bravo in an annoyingly loud voice.
Please will you show us exactly where in the Supreme Court ruling that they said Boris had lied. I suspect that you are the one who is telling porkies in your annoyingly loud voice. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

The accusation of lying is obviously implicit rather than explicit. Jeez; what do you need? A man with a red flag walking in front of you leading you very slowly to the bleeding obvious.0 -

The ruling was pretty comprehensive, you should maybe read it rather than throw around baseless accusations.

I think that's code for the SC did not accuse BJ of lying.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Desperate stuff.
As per Ivader's post, the invitation to back up your accusation of lying still stands.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Man, you are really flailing about now. If it is not explicit, it didn’t happen. Jeez. What do you need? To lie down for a while, it seems. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

Well said.
For your average Remoaner, when facts are scarce hyperbole is their friend.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0
