Brexit the economy and house prices part 7: Brexit Harder

It would certainly be interesting to see the official legal advice given to Boris before he made the decision to prorogue.
Particularly if the Government lawyers had advised against it & he went & did it anyway.
It seems to have come down to whether the argument he wasn't attempting to frustrate parliament was credible.
His lawyers must have advised him that any legal case relying on his credibility would be doomed to failure.0 -

My news alert just popped up that the advice given by the attorney general was that it was legal.0 -
In other news parliament has now stopped boris from taking a **** while they endlessly debate what type of bog roll to buy.
That hard shiny stuff we had at school in the 80s has been rejected outright but there is much debate around Andrex or cushelle.0 -
The PM shouldn't resign because his cabinet were on board with what was doing. The correct thing to do would be for the opposition to call a motion of no confidence.
The cabinet were on board because he assured them his motives were to bring forward his exciting legislative plans. According to Amber Rudd no legal opinions were shared.
So he lied to his cabinet and they believed an obvious lie. Maybe they should all resign for either lying or gross gullibility.0 -

Maybe he'll have to use Theresa May's withdrawal agreement. Fair enough it's been well **** on but it might be serviceable.0 -
Now that parliament is back in action, does anyone have the foggiest clue how they are going to progress this mess?
I’m struggling tbh and usually I get everything spot on.0 -

Extraordinary isn’t it that only a few days ago, the opposition declined to call a VONC implying that they had confidence in Boris but now they want him to resign also without a VONC. We'll soon find out if Corbyn has the cojones to call a vote. My money’s on him bottling it.The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0
