Even Banks (major funder of Leave.EU admits they only won due to lying).
    Evidence for that please?

Markets slump as recession warning lights start to blink: as it happened

Is Germany's recession because of Brexit?

It ran a "disruptive" campaign instead, Mr Banks told the committee, adding: "We were not above using alternative methods to punch home our message or lead people up the garden path if we had to."

Mr Wigmore, Leave.EU's director of communications, said "the piece of advice that we got, right from the beginning, was remember referendums are not about facts, it's about emotion and you have got to tap into that emotion".

After June 2016 I might have (ok I did) joke about Britain reflecting Germany in the late 1920’s and the 1930’s

Now with a “rapid rebuttal unit” being created, staffed and funded my jokes don’t look very funny. (If they ever were)

This gentlemen headed up a similar department in Berlin.

In addition as has been said a few posts ago.
It would be “unwise” for an EU citizen in the U.K. NOT to apply for settled status. Is that a subtle threat or just good advise? At least if you apply the British Government will know where you live and if at a later stage they would like “an additional interview” they can come and visit you!

I think you'll find that your nearest neighbour to the east has 94 fascists sitting in its parliament. You should be more concerned about them.

Remainers however have gone beyond that to say that lies on one side should result in the referendum being annulled.

If there were lies on either side then surely if you actually want an informed democracy, then you'd want to ignore the result. Unless you're just happy about kicking foreigners.

If anything the remain arguments were way too honest, which is why they weren't compelling. Unlike the leave campaign which bears no relationship to the truth in any shape or form. Fortunately they have an uber liar as the PM now, but even he is starting to feel the pressure.

He got his WW2 terms mixed up, instead of collaborator he should have said resistance.

It has had a negative effect on the UK, I would say Germany too, to a lesser extent.

His neighbour to the east has them sitting on the opposition benches.

    Here they form the government.

Parsing your post here, I'm seeing lots of emotion and zero facts. So as per Herzlos' last post #5370 both sides consider playing on emotions is fair game. Come to think of it, when was a GE ever contested without appealing more to the heart than the head?

Remainer Brexit derangement syndrome really is a thing.
They see themselves as the intelligent ones as well.
