Don't forget:

- A birching for every school boy
- Additional funding for evening classes to teach women to know their place
- Separate queues in the post office for foreigners, leading straight to deportation buses
- A free copy of "Jacob Rees Mogg's Guide to Why Kenyan Concentration Camps Weren't That Bad' in every home
- Priti Patel's "Death Sentence Lottery" to be aired twice weekly
- "Mend and Make Do" - the lost art of almost every pleb being poor and uneducated again to be taught in schools

It's a bright new dawn in Bigoted Brexit Britain, and this is the cabinet to deliver.
Careful now, you don't want to draw the attention of Gove's Rapid Rebuttal Unit.

Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I hope they are going to deal with all the lies from Boris Johnson, Priti Patel, Dominic Raaaaaab, et al... But I'm not going to hold my breath.

Pity they didn't have one of those to tackle all the ridiculous EU stories that te Tabloids used to spread :(

Maybe Gove can start with this piece of mis-information from the Telegraph, which isn't actually true?

Boris Johnson has the support of more than half of the public to deliver Brexit by any means, including suspending Parliament, according to a poll.
The ComRes survey for The Telegraph found that 54 per cent of British adults think Parliament should be prorogued to prevent MPs stopping a no-deal Brexit.

There aren't enough unemployed left in the country to staff it :(

Seriously though, the more I think about this the more it sounds like the Ministry of Truth or Pravda. It seems to just be about mitigating bad news about a no-deal Brexit, rather than any real fact checking.

Edit: The Guardian agrees and also provides a great example of how hard it is to prepare for Brexit / handle the extra paperwork associated with it.

After June 2016 I might have (ok I did) joke about Britain reflecting Germany in the late 1920’s and the 1930’s

Now with a “rapid rebuttal unit” being created, staffed and funded my jokes don’t look very funny. (If they ever were)

This gentlemen headed up a similar department in Berlin.

In addition as has been said a few posts ago.
It would be “unwise” for an EU citizen in the U.K. NOT to apply for settled status. Is that a subtle threat or just good advise? At least if you apply the British Government will know where you live and if at a later stage they would like “an additional interview” they can come and visit you!
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

What's wrong with Boris and his cabinet?
At least they deliver.

- fibre broadband for every home by 2025
- billions for a cross-Pennine Norther Powerhouse rail link late July
- 4.6 billion annually for schools 2 weeks ago
- 20k extra police early last week
- NHS saved late last week
- Criminal Justice system sorted yesterday
- Prison Service funding tackled today

:T
I'm disappointed as I'd like to have seen scrap HS2, scrap Heathrow extension and develop a dense properly standardised EV charger point network on the list. If you don't know how it can be done ask Holland or Norway.

17 odd million people voted for Brexit for a variety of core reasons ranging from racism and xenophobia to genuine concern about globalisation.

But, the only part the British press and Boris Johnson's Brexit cabinet reflect is the racism and xenophobia.

It would behove Leavers who don't want this to start being a lot more vocal about it.

And we have never had unelected chums of politicians driving national action, going to war, based upon unsubstantiated rumour and lies before?
Fresh evidence has emerged that Tony Blair's discredited Iraqi arms dossier was "sexed up" on the instructions of Alastair Campbell, his communications chief, to fit with claims from the US administration that were known to be false.

The pre-invasion dossier's worst-case estimate of how long it would take Iraq to acquire a nuclear weapon was shortened in response to a George Bush speech.

and more recently:
“Your Labour Party was deeply divided on it, you needed Tory votes,” Mr Neil fired back. “And you ignored one million people!”

Mr Campbell denied that the government “ignored” the will of the public and said Brexit was different because even Parliament was divided on it and the country was in “chaos”.
majority of britons support brexit by any means

You can chuck mud or quotes in all of this and refer to online articles and historic reflections and comparisons but the fact is it's politics and ingrained differences, and there's only way we will know.

And the proposed Caroline Lucas cabinet would reflect??
• As for the majority of Britons supporting etc etc, that was a poll of as many as 1645 people commissioned by the Daily Torigraph.
I am a remainer, but would. Not give much weight to a poll of 1646 people commissioned by the Guardian. Just saying.
