Still using Remoaner? I have not read everything in this thread lately but I am pretty sure the negative and nasty twists of the word Brexiter have dropped out of use.
I’m not the sensitive sort, you can use the word ‘Brexiter’ if you wish.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Of course it was. It was a cross party alliance led by the Tories. The most incompetent, corrupt, self serving, dishonest, least fit to govern, political party in Europe..
Yes, a lacklustre campaign not helped by the tactical ambivalence of ‘Magic Grandpa’ it has to be said.
That tactic obviously helped him to a phyric victory in the 2017 GE, but he’s been rumbled now unfortunately.
18% in the polls?......ouch!“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Never mind a pyrrhic victory, he claimed to have won in spite of the tories gaining 55 more seats than labour.

See Here Nigel Farage Critisizing Teresa May of begging to the EU. He is right, Teresa May is a begger turning the country to be a laughing stock, humiliated

No wonder she has been voted as the worst prime minister in the British history. She will be written in the history and the future genration could see who turn the country to be a begging country.0 -
May did the best she could with what she had whilst trying to keep the party together. She may be spineless and inept but that mess outcome was predicted before she won the leadership contest - that the PM would need to pull off the impossible or be willing to upset a lot of Tory party members.0

EU tried to bully / Scaremonger Swiss by denying the country’s bourse recognition under EU equivalence rule. It did not work

It did not work in such a small country of 8.9 million. Let alone it is less powerful than UK financial hub. Britain will shut Paris Frankfurt Brussels if they dare to that in Britain. EU financial hub are minnows
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2019/07/05/nigel-farage-warns-britain-will-shut-paris-frankfurt-brussels/
Lesson learnt here Swiss could Standoff against the EU because they are united. But here in the UK there are too many people MPs who tie up UK hand in the EU negotitiation
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38833883
You could see here how they voted triggering article article 50
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/article-50-parliament-mps-vote-brexit-theresa-may-eu-negotiations-labour-conservative-how-voted-a7558291.html
You could see reasonable number of them are pro triggering Article 50 but later turn to become the hardliner wanted to reverse the decision of what they had voted for when they still have the chance to reverse it.
A few to name
Heidi Allen (Conservative - South Cambridgeshire)
Anna Soubry (Conservative - Broxtowe)
Mr Chuka Umunna (Labour - Streatham)
Mr Philip Hammond (Conservative - Runnymede and Weybridge)
Yvette Cooper (Labour - Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford)
Jeremy Corbyn (Labour - Islington North)
Mr Dominic Grieve (Conservative - Beaconsfield)
Mr George Osborne (Conservative - Tatton)
Mr David Gauke (Conservative - South West Hertfordshire)
Keir Starmer (Labour - Holborn and St Pancras)
Some people might want to remember these names when come to voting on general election to make sure that they never get elected again.0 -

For now 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
According to Telegraph today, the Swiss are very annoyed at Brexit as it shone a spotlight on their 'cake-and-eat-it' status. So the EU has decided to make an example. Good thing then, that the Swiss are returning the compliment by demonstrating an example of when the EU tries to cut it's businesses and people off from easy world market access to best of breed services. EU businesses and people don't like it.
