If you can't see the double standard in your answer, then there's little more to be said.

There's no double standard. I don't think Remain said anything that was a known lie at the time. Leave did, repeatedly. Is that incorrect?
The Remain campaign was awful, but it wasn't deliberately misleading.

Remain campaign was even more incompetent than the last Tory GE effort. Sad really. Negative, preached to the already converted, fell right into the opposition’s plan.

When will MPs realise (especially tories) that by failing again to deal with the problem they are just heading down the same road.
The last three years has been a shambles.

Or you could look at the whole picture and what we get out of it. Are all of those problems down to the EU? Will they affect us in the EU? Will they affect us even from outside?

Anyone could point to plenty examples which taken in isolation would make the UK look like a disaster to join.

What Remain campaigned on was believed to be true at the time based on the information available. Standard predictions. I'm not talking about any facts here as none of them have changed.

Leave on the other hand, made a catalog of claims that they knew we're false at the time. That's why I'm accusing them of lying. They made some predictions that weren't bad, but lotsof claims that are still regurgitated despite not standing up to any scrutiny. Turkey joining, 350m/week, EU army, unelected beaurocrats and so on.

Remain failed to sell us the benefits of staying in the EU.

Oh I agree; the remain campaign was a disaster.
I'm just saying it wasn't full of lies.

I think the point is that being incompetent, rubbish, absence etc. Is different to lying.

Unfortunately they are are still most of those things, note Anna Soubry on QT. These people are doing more harm to the Remain side than good. My vote will be for the LibDems.

You hear little about it because it didn't happen. :D

Is this economic growth trickling down to the workers though? GDP is something politicians like to spout about as it's such a complex topic it's hard to disagree with them!

What would be more relevant would be the increase in weekly wages for the bottom 40% of the population. Inequitable distribution of wealth isn't being addressed. Not that I suggesting a Corbyn style redistribution.

    and thank you remainers for

    1. Bringing back Farage from grave.
    2. Alienating voters in both Tories and Labour leading to possible split of both parties.
    3. Ending of 2-party system
    4. Making public realize how incompetent our MPs are

Keep on trying. Brexit is like the Hulk. More ammunition you throw at it,it becomes stronger :D

    .

    No, you are incorrect.
Was the threat of a post-referendum emergency budget a lie or an incorrect prediction?

Let’s be kind and say that the leave campaign stretched the truth a little :) But that is what usually happens in elections. Incumbents get voted for on their record, challengers get voted for on their promises.

The euros are interesting because this time round nige doesn’t have to promise anything new at all. TM and JC are running the campaign for him.
